Characters - One-Shots

You may take a single One-Shot ability during character creation. After that, you may only get another by achieving your goals (and you can’t have more than a single One Shot at any one time).

  • It's an old plan but it might just work! You can make a plan of action that requires precise timing succeed no matter what the odds against it.
  • Did you hear the one about... You know an old joke about four elephants, a priest and a banana that is so funny it will have everyone within earshot rolling helplessly around on the floor in hysterics for several minutes.
  • A feat of incredible strength! You can perform one feat of awesome, incredible, impossible strength. Requires Awesome Strength.
  • Not As Bad As It Looks: You can heal all damage done to you.
  • If you can fly a Sopwith Camel, you can fly anything: You can fly/drive any piece of outlandish or unfamiliar equipment. Requires Drive Vehicle.
  • Holmsian Observation: You can determine someone’s background, hobbies, occupation and wine preferences by simple observation!
  • Daddy’s Magic Purse: You can call on your (rich) father for one extraordinarily unusual or expensive item.
  • An Incredible Disguise: You can disguise yourself as anyone else - long enough to fool someone for about five minutes only.
  • Two and two make four: You make an incredible leap of logic from a few scattered clues.
  • Friends in very high places: You have friends in very high places who you can call on for help in any situation.
  • Astounding judgement: You look at something and instinctively make a correct analysis of the situation.
  • Achilles Heel: You hit someone (or something) in their achilles heel, knocking them out or killing them (your choice) instantly.

Note - this list is not exhaustive. As I think of extra one-shots, I'll add them here.
